Since completing my Sports Science degree in 2004 I’ve been working as a personal trainer, nutritionist, Pilates coach and corrective exercise specialist.
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some amazing people in some of the best gyms, studios, physiotherapy clinics and movie studios around the world, including New York, Auckland, Melbourne and London.
Over the years I’ve been involved in strength & conditioning, body transformations, health optimisation, corrective exercise, rehab and preparing actors/actresses for big budget movie roles.
After working as a wellbeing consultant for a large corporate wellbeing organisation in 2016, I new that this was what I really wanted to do.
I loved using all my knowledge, experience and skills to help improve the lives of individuals on scale.
Seeing organisations invest in their teams and providing them with the opportunity to improve every aspect of their lives through the power of mental and physical wellbeing.
Whilst a cynic might suggest that the organisation is making the investment to simply improve their own productivity and profitability, I could see first hand that generally speaking their motives were to genuinely look after their people, I guess it doesn’t matter what the motives are, everyone is a winner in this situation.
A happy and healthy workforce would ultimately create a healthy and productive business and to be able to use my knowledge in health, fitness and wellness to achieve this, is incredibly exciting to me.
